When Scratch needs to get away from Molly’s endless enhappifying, he decides to call the Haunted Mansion residents as he looks for a personal reference to be able to join their ranks. Unfortunately, Scratch has found himself on the bad side with many of them, because he used Madame Leota's crystal ball as a bowling ball, never brought a wedding gift for any of Constance Hatchaway's weddings, gave the Hatbox Ghost a case of ghost lice after borrowing his tophat, and damaged Uncle Theodore's bust. Scratch is ultimately rejected by all 999 ghosts and had no choice but to continue living with the McGees.
