My Best Friend's Bat Mitzvah is a song in The Ghost and Molly McGee. It is heard in the episode "Mazel Tov, Libby!".
Lyrics[]
Molly: It's my best friend's bat mitzvah
A magical Jewish soirée
It's my best friend’s bat mitzvah
Oh, Scratch, prepare to be blown away
Scratch: I can see the mashed potato bar now!
Molly: Sparkling ball gowns and gold limousines
Libby‐themed decorations
Every table has a beautiful centerpiece
Worth more than a small island nation
Scratch: Endless buffets
Molly: Trapeze displays
Both: We're showered with gifts as we dance
Scratch: They'll have fountains of not only chocolate
But also ketchup, gravy, and ranch
Both: At my best friend's bat mitzvah
Molly: Celebrity DJs play
Both: At my best friend's bat mitzvah
Scratch: That's it! I'm converting today!
Both: It's my best friend's bat mitzvah
Molly: So beautiful, you'll shed a tear
She's telling the world
She's no longer a girl
Both: Her womanhood is almost here

Trivia[]
- In this song, Scratch claims to be "converting" to Judaism for the sake of the buffet he imagined would be at the party, and even wore a Jewish hat called a kippah, but changed his mind when he and Molly were actually there. What religion he was before he died wasn't yet explored, but considering his viewpoint of the world he was most likely an agnostic.
- The "Libby-themed decorations" Molly imagines include a statue of Libby in a style that is similar to the statues in a Greek/Roman fountain, though it was a PG version on account this effigy was fully dressed.
