Lord Doom is a skeletal ghost (much like the Chairman, except he has an actual face on a yellow skull), who used to terrorize humans and ghosts alike for an entire millennium before he got banished to the Flow of Failed Phantoms.
History[]
After the Flow fell apart, Scratch devised a plan to ensnare Lord Doom by placing a curse on him. As Lord Doom tried to escape, he found himself trapped inside a baby doll for eternity. This unfortunate outcome was a result of the curse, which condemned him to be forever confined in the next vessel he encountered. Despite his new form, Lord Doom refused to let it hinder his mischievous activities in Brighton. Lord Doom launched an attack on Scratch, unaware that he was the one who cursed him since he was diguised as the Chairman. Lord Doom soon realized that his adorable appearance was not conducive to his menacing persona. He grew exhausted and understood that his facade would not be effective in causing fear. Recognizing that he was merely playing a role, Molly took it upon herself to teach Lord Doom proper etiquette. She believed that by embracing a less frightening side, he could find a new way to express himself. Despite Scratch's skepticism, Molly's efforts yielded mixed results, leading to her own paranoia. Meanwhile, Lord Doom, in a gesture of gratitude, created a thank you gift for Molly using various items he had destroyed. Unfortunately, the red paint he used was mistaken for blood by both Molly and Scratch. As a result, Lord Doom came to a realization that he needed someone who could unconditionally love all aspects of his nature. He yearned for someone innocent enough to accept him wholeheartedly. Lord Doom happily allowed himself to be adopted by Octavius' family. He became the baby's favorite toy and, symbolically speaking, an elder foster brother.
