Leah Stein-Torres is the single mother of Libby Stein-Torres.

Ms. Stein-Torres takes slam poetry very seriously, and wouldn't cancel Slam Poetry Night at her bookshop, Book Marks the Spot, for anything that has nothing to do with her daughter. Every year on Hanukkah, she states "Libby is (her) miracle", and she thinks back on her family's hard history and all they had lived through that shows how proud and strong they really are.

She usually wears a white shirt, a brown jacket, an olive green scarf, denim jeans and grey slip on shoes. Occasionally, she will wear a beige dress with a pink coat, white shoes and a gold necklace.

Personality

Leah is very supportive and caring towards her daughter. As a matter of fact, she is not afraid to show her love and devotion towards her and is very reliable. She however shows a very rambunctious side and has a strong interest in slam poetry; revealing that she is very eccentric.
