Juniper "June" Chen is a major supporting character of The Ghost and Molly McGee. She's a neighbor of Molly McGee and a ghost hunter and researcher. June is the younger sister of Ollie Chen and the youngest child & only daughter of Ruben Chen & Esther Chen.

June is a Chinese-American girl of small height, slim body, long brown hair tied in bun with a blue scrunchie, almond eyes with black pupils.
Attire[]
June wears a big pair of glasses with red rims, a white shirt under a yellow sweater with a orange collar and handcuffs, a dark navy blue skirt and light purple boots with white soles.
Personality[]
Due to June being on the autism spectrum, she is honest to a fault, as she was the only one who outright stated she didn't like turnips while the rest of her family pretends to be grateful to receive them as a "Welcome to Brighton" gift. She also has a sense of mischief on par with Darryl, as she occasionally joins in on his pranks, though it seems to be more-so out of naivety than rebellion on account that she saves her malicious side for ghost hunting (and videos about ghost hunting) while being well-behaved in class.
Being a natural genius and channeling her autism into seeing details that rival ghost hunters would miss, she makes various gadgets that (after various tests using pudding balloons) actually work on ghosts, as opposed to smoke-and-mirrors technology that ghostbuster wannabes would use. Although she uses her scary face to show that she means business against evil spirits, June might not see ghost hunting in the same serious light as the rest of her family, as she states with a playful smile on her face that it's just an activity her family does together; no doubt slow to realize that this sort of thing isn't a normal family activity. She can be literal minded and takes a while to piece together changes in social dynamics (in both humans and ghosts alike) yet has a good heart and good intentions.
After she learned from her older brother that not all ghosts are bad, she decided to protect them from her parents even going as far to publicly humiliate them by switching the phantom canister with a doll and wanted to study ghosts.

- June is autistic.[1][2]
- Her voice actress, Sue Ann Pien is also autistic in real-life.
- She is the fourth autistic Disney character, the first being Renee from Loop, the second being Sean from Fancy Nancy and the third being Bebe Proud from The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder.
- June is the third person outside of Molly's family to know about Scratch's existence, after her brother and Libby.
- In wraith form, she's the only one in the Ghost Friends group with red ectoplasm. This might just be because it's close to Ollie's orange color, similar to how Darryl is green, which is close to Molly's yellow color. Red is also commonly used to represent autism awareness, which may also be a reason.
