Eva Hernandez is a one-time character. She's the main editor of Midwest Monthly, and she's tired of writing about Perfektborg all the time, on account that they win everything (even though she noticed their meatballs were a little dry). Appearantly, her desire to spice up her magazine even goes so far as to write about epic fails, for although the pinata mishap cost Brighton and it's Turnip Festival it's chance at winning "Best Fest in the Midwest", especially since she was right in the middle of the ordeal (which gave her every reason to be angry at Pete for his "bad idea" of filling that pinata with real turnips) she did add it to the magazine (and by extension, it's website) under the headline "Big Mess at the Turnip Fest". Pinata mishap aside, she seemed to have had fun at Turnip Fest.
