I have an idea to bring back The Ghost and Molly McGee and make a movie called Cartoon All-Stars To The Rescue: The Epic Movie. (NOTE: This is a remake to the 1990 TV special, and it's a prequel to Lyla in the Loop, and will not feature drugs and alcohol.)

(Also, hi there, I'm new :3)

Imagine TGAMM, but: Scratch is still human, and Molly is the ghost instead (note that their personalities aren't be reversed; Molly would still be peppy and Scratch would still be grumpy). Just some guy in his late 40's-early 50's and a ghost girl he has decided is his daughter.

Scratch still never went with Adia, but I imagine Molly appears before his soul "slipped away" and she's what keeps him from becoming a Wraith.

As for Molly, I still don't have any ideas for her becoming a ghost (I still want her to be a wraith instead of dead, since 1. In the show Scratch was a wraith, not dead, and 2. because I don't wanna think about the implications of her death since her ghost is still a child.)

I imagine that the initial curse would be something like Scratch saying the infamous "I've been cursed" and then Molly being like "well if that's what you want" and then curses them together (i'm trying to come up with a "Reverse Curse" that still has a way to unbind the two).

This AU kind of reminds me of the movie UP not gonna lie.
